Are you thinking about retirement?

If you are, now's the time to think about retiring in Prescott, Arizona! First Ev. Lutheran Church, Prescott, has constructed an 12 unit retirement complex (complete with Club House) for members of the WELS. Each unit is approximately 1,100 sq. ft.with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, garage and storage. Units are available at $800/month.

What does Smoke Tree Village provide?

Included in the $800/month rent are water, sewage, and garbage pick-up. Resident's pay for electricity, gas, telephone, cable, and newspaper.

Is there an age restriction to reside in Smoke Tree Village?

Yes, at least one of the residents must be 62 years of age or older. However, if an applicant is less than age 62, the application may be approved by the Residence Committee.

Can a unit be sublet?  No.

Is Smoke Tree Village smoke-free?

No, but smoking outdoors is encouraged.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, with approval of the Residence Committee.

Is renter's insurance required?

Yes, proof of insurance is required prior to move-in.

Can the Club House be reserved?

Yes.  A reservation calendar is posted in the Club House. With its full kitchen, it's ideal to enterain family and friends for those special occasions.

Can guests stay at Smoke Tree Village?

Yes, but not on a permanent basis.
