THE
FOURTH SUNDAY IN LENT MARCH 14, 2010
WELCOME Visitors- we
are happy that you’ve joined us for worship today and we extend
to you a warm and heartfelt welcome! If you haven’t received a welcoming
folder, please pick one up from the table by the organ. May the Lord bless your worship with us. We also ask our visitors to please read &
complete the yellow tri-fold located in the hymnal rack and sign the Guest
Book. Thank you!
PREPARATION As you wait
for the worship service to begin, instead of visiting with someone in a pew
near you, you may want to prepare yourself for worship by reading a section of
Scripture and/or by saying a prayer. The
following prayer is one suggestion.
“Gracious
Father in heaven, in countless ways we have transgressed against you. But you have been merciful to us and have
forgiven the guilt of our sin. Surround
us with your unfailing love that we may rejoice in your great goodness now and
forever; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” Additional prayers can be located on pages 10
& 11 and 134-139 in the front of the hymnal.
